12 goals for the next year
1) learn to speak mandarin to the point that I can easily say the numbers to 100 and say pleasantries
2) Organize our music collection (currently spread across two continents and several devices!)
3) not get fired
4) Travel to Viet Nam
5) set up a good tool for blogging
6) Get my team at work ready to carry on when I leave
7) read 40 books
8) be in better communication with friends, both new and old
9) plan (and have!) more time with my beloved
10) set up a long trip between jobs
11) Exercise more than 3 times each week
12) Cut down on caffiene comsumption (1 cup a day!)

it is not very hard to say the numbers to 100, you only need to learn 12 words(pronouce) which include 0 (zero) and hundred.
like this:
0 (ling)
1 (yi)
2 (er)
3 (sun)
4 (si)
5 (wu)
6 (liu)
7 (qi)
8 (ba)
9 (jiu)
10 (shi)
if you want to say eleven..
11 (shi yi)
12 (shi er)
*etc.. note that 11 is 10 + 1
so, how about twenty two?
= 2*10+2
22 (er shi er)
23 (er shi sun)
33 (sun shi sun)
45 (si shi wu)
same thing applies until 99 (jiu shi jiu)
Finally, 100 is (yi bai) where bai is mean "hundred" in mandarin.
